Crown Consult was selected to conduct an entire review of road protection scores according to the International Road Assessment Program (iRAP) guidelines for the State of Qatar and to improve the country’s analysis, forecast and planning systems including the database management systems, the new road design analysis tool, the collision site investigation tool, the temporary traffic management compliance tool, a new effectiveness measurement tool for safety countermeasures, spatial analysis tool for collisions and road environment features.

The project will produce a new protocol and associated documents will be used by government agencies, developers, consultants, planners, and traffic engineers to help plan, design, and manage road safe systems in the country.
