Crown Consult organized the kick-off workshop to present to the public the Trip Generation and Parking Rates Manual. The activity counted with participation from Consulting Firms that prepare Transportation Impact Studies, Government agencies and Universities.

The project is expected to produce a country-wide manual with trip generation and parking rates for hundreds of land uses, including offices, educational and institutional grounds, entertainment landmarks, restaurants, shopping facilities, hotels and residential areas among others

The project is expected to deliver an accompanying software and an update to the guidelines and procedures for transportation studies.

All these topics were introduced to the representatives of the organizations that attended the activity and their aid and collaboration was requested to ensure a successful completion of this project.

This is one of the various strategic projects of for the Ministry of Transport and Communications in Qatar.
