Crown Consult was commissioned to prepare the Concept and Detailed Designs for the Dubai Central Parks project, which is adjacent to the Sheikh Zayed Road near the Dubai- Abu Dhabi border. The development consists of Theme Park attractions, retail, dining, entertainment areas and complementary attractions.

Crown Consult was responsible for:

• Design of Roads and Infrastructure
• Design of tram route serving a temporary car park
• Infrastructure and Utilities Design
• Storm Water Drainage
• Sewerage
• Irrigation
• Potable Water
• Street Lighting
• Electrical & Telecommunication Networks.

Crown Consult also developed the Concept Design landscaping of Central Park. The main design aimed to provide users with the pleasure of different environments, shaped by the various scents and colors of the future vegetation as well as through patterning, color, materials, textures and forms.

The landscaping schemes were conceived to encourage people to interact, to meet and to exercise through providing spaces tailored to each of those activities. The planting offers valuable shade and physical shelter from the surrounding constructed zones, while also increasing privacy and safety along the proposed tram route.
